The NFL is not happy that Aaron Rodgers is out for the season. Nine of the New York Jets' remaining 16 games are scheduled for prime time, holiday or late Sunday afternoon windows. Can you say F-L-E-X?

Deion Sanders' Colorado Buffaloes is a smash hit. Saturday's Nebraska-Colorado game at noon on Fox generated 8.73 million viewers, the highest college football match-up in Week 2. It topped the primetime Texas-Alabama game (7.96) on ESPN.

Woody and Buzz are lining up with the NFL. ESPN will stream a "Toy Story"-themed animated alternate broadcast of the Oct. 9 Atlanta Falcons-Jacksonville Jaguars game in London.

This week's AP Top 25 includes eight Pac-12 teams -- 6. USC, 10. Washington, 12. Utah, 13. Oregon, 16. Oregon St., 18. Colorado, 23. Washington St., 24. UCLA. Neat trick, considering the conference is down to two teams.

It seems like every Atlanta Braves highlight includes a home run. No surprise, considering the Braves are on pace to demolish the record for most HRs in a season -- 307 set by the 2019 Minnesota Twins.

LeBron James wants one more Olympics. The 38-year-old Lakers star wants to lead Team USA at next summer's Paris Games... and is actively recruiting teammates -- Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and Jason Tatum among them.

Curry is headlining a Golf Channel limited series, "Niiice Shot with Stephen Curry," in which he tries to recreate iconic shots from the past 20 years.

There's a new No. 1 in women's golf: Ruoning Yin, 20, of China, bumping Lilia Vu of the U.S. to No. 2.
