UCLA Football: 3-Star Local Junior TE Wants Bruins To Offer

Your UCLA Bruins are making their rounds in the recruiting process. They have a ton of ground to catch up on as their former head coach, Chip Kelly, left them in favor of an offensive coordinator gig under Ryan Day at Ohio State. A new sheriff is now in town.

UCLA will roll with former player and Athletic Hall of Famer DeShaun Foster. It's a new era in UCLA football, and a three-star local hopes to be a part of it.

2025 California tight end Kellan Ford spoke to Bruins Online Report and said he hopes to hear from the Bruins soon.

"Ethan Young came up to the school to watch us work out and I've been there a bunch of times, so we'll see what happens next with UCLA," said Ford.

Ford's sister is a Bruin and plays for the beach volleyball team.

The junior tight end is the 26th tight end in his class and the 50th-ranked player in California. He's received offers from Arizona, Boston College, California, Oregon State, and San Diego State.

The tight end stands at 6'5" and weighs 230 pounds. Ford has nine offers and is waiting for UCLA to make him an offer. Will UCLA take a bite out of the apple?
