UCLA Women's Volleyball: Away Attendance Record Shattered in Latest Bruins Win
Volleyball season is now among us and it's clear that fans all around the nation are ready to watch their respective teams take the court against one another. As far as UCLA women's squad, we know that PAC-12 coaches voted the Bruins as the fifth best roster just before the season and that means there is still plenty to prove.
Stanford and Oregon are viewed as the two best teams in the conference still and with UCLA boasting a new head coach in Alfee Reft, new schemes and systems will be experimented with depending on who they face off against.
Even though the Bruins dropped their first game against LSU, they responded with two straight victories with the first coming in a rematch against the same school and the second against Northwestern State.
Specifically against Northwestern State, Iman Ndiaye paved the way to the win with 14 kills and set the tone from the jump. This was also the first time that UCLA women's volleyball team made their way to the university and the result was a record-breaking crowd filling the stands.
"The Bruins (2-1) defeated the Lady Demons (0-4) in front of a record-breaking crowd of 1,232 fans who came out to see UCLA compete at the university for the first time in program history."

UCLA now holds a record of two wins and one loss so let's hope that the win column continues rising. They can certainly expect more huge crowds in the future with the talent on their roster and Reft just needs to make sure they keep the end goals in mind.
