Hockey: Women's Team Crack National Top-20 Poll
The UConn men's hockey team entered the DCU/USCHO Top-20 National Poll this week, coming in at No. 20. This is the first time this season that UConn has been nationally ranked and the second time in program history, having cracked the top-20 last season.

The Huskies posted a pair of road wins at Merrimack, 6-2, and at Boston College, 6-4, last week and have run their Hockey East winning streak to six-straight. The Huskies have won four straight and seven of their last eight heading into this weekend. The Huskies have also moved up to No. 19 in the most up-to-date PairWise rankings.
UConn is tied for third in the Hockey East standings with Boston University, each with 37 points. The Huskies are just two points behind UMass Lowell and UMass in first place. The Huskies and No. 10 nationally-ranked Minutemen will face-off in home-and-home series with weekend, Friday night at XL Center and Saturday on the road in Amherst.
