Two former Tar Heels among top-30 NBA free agents

Free agency is under a week away and NBA executives and coaches are working to construct their roster for the 2023-2024 campaign.
Restricted free agents may have their contracts matched and unrestricted free agents may be wearing a new uniform come October.
CBS Sports' Colin-Ward Henninger ranked his top-30 free agents this offseason and two former Tar Heels made the cut.
Coming in at No. 12 is Cam Johnson, who just finished his most successful season as a pro. Johnson averaged a career-high 15.5 points and 4.4 rebounds in 42 games between Brooklyn and Phoenix.
Johnson is one of the top three-point shooters in the league and has proven himself to be a consistent scorer.
He is a restricted free agent, giving the Nets the opportunity to match any offer sheet he were to sign with another team. It is unclear what their plan is this offseason, but expect them to pursue Johnson.
The second former North Carolina standout on the list is Harrison Barnes, who comes in at No. 19.
Barnes completed his 12th season in the league and his fourth in Sacramento, helping the Kings reach the playoffs for the first time since 2006. He recorded 15 points and 4.5 rebounds over 82 regular season contests.
Unlike Johnson, Barnes is an unrestricted free agent and can truly decide his destination.
He provides a veteran presence on the floor and is a consistent supporting scorer for a No. 1 or No. 2 option.
Will Johnson remain in Brooklyn? Where will these two former Tar Heels land once free agency begins on June 30th?
