USC Football: Colorado Could Be Without Star WR In Trojans Matchup
USC's upcoming matchup against Colorado is starting to lose some of its national appeal as the Buffs are dealing with an injury to a key player.
Over the weekend in its matchup against Colorado State, Colorado lost its star two-way player Travis Hunter to an injury.
Following an incomplete pass to the sophomore, Hunter took a late hit to his midsection that sent him to the hospital.
As an update to his injury, head coach Deion Sanders announced that he is expecting Hunter to miss the team's next three games.
USC is scheduled to meet Colorado in Boulder in two weeks. The game will be a part of FOX's nationally broadcasted Big Noon Kickoff as announced earlier on Monday.
The matchup between USC and Colorado is expected to be a meeting of top Heisman candidates.
USC quarterback Caleb Williams is putting together a case to be a back-to-back winner as he has started the season the same way he ended last year.
Colorado has both Hunter and Sheduer Sanders who could be in the Heisman conversation.
Currently, Sanders is top five in the nation in passing yards and Hunter is elite at both wide receiver and cornerback.
While USC still has to take on ASU and Colorado heading to Eugene to take on the Ducks, the two teams can look forward to a great game at Folsom Field two weeks from now.
