USC Football: Trojans Land 4-Star WR Commit
USC football reportedly has landed a commitment from four-star wide receiver Romero Ison, via On 3 Sports' Hayes Fawcett. After also receiving offers from schools including Penn State, Indiana, Florida and Michigan State among others, Ison opted to head to the Trojans.
The news comes three days after Ison posted a photo on social media of him at USC in front of the team's "Fight On" slogan.
Ison is a 6-foot, 175-pound receiver from Maryland, who will be joining USC in 2025. Ison is considered a top receiving prospect in the country in his class, and was one of the most versatile weapons in high school last season.
As a multi-threat weapon, Ison produced over 2,600 yards and 20 touchdowns in his most recent season. He's succeeded as both a receiver and rusher for his school, and should provide Trojans head coach Lincoln Riley with a true offensive threat once he comes to college.
Ison will join a USC program that has successfully produced some of the better receivers in college football as of late. Both Tahj Washington and Brenden Rice are expected to be drafted in the NFL at the end of this month, and former Trojan Jordan Addison was a first-round pick a year ago.
