2025 Three-Star Linebacker Max Fonoimoana Crystal Balled to Utah

Max Fonoimoana, Hawaii’s No. 3 ranked prospect in the class of 2025 has been crystal balled to Utah by 247Sports recruiting analyst Blair Angulo.
The 6-3, 200-pound linebacker from Kahuku, Hawaii, also holds offers from programs like Arizona, Nevada, Oregon State, and California.
Fonoimoana, who goes by Maximum, was a premier defensive contributor for the Kahuku HS Red Raiders, who won their third consecutive Hawaii State Championship.
A terror on the edge, Fonoimoana's junior highlights are filled with quarterback sacks, TFLs, and consistent defensive pressure. The junior also played significant snaps in coverage, boasting several pass breakups and interceptions.
Fonoimoana has an official visit scheduled with the Utes in June.
Utah will host quite a few of their 2025 targets alongside Maximum. Safety Matai Tagoa'i, receiver Jerome Myles, and defensive lineman Darius Afalava will also be in attendance. Additionally, Kaimana Carvalho, Fonoimoana’s Kahuku teammate will also be in Utah come June 14th.
Maximum would be the second player from his family to commit to the University of Utah. His brother, Brock Fonoimoana, was a four-star safety recruit within the Utes 2023 recruiting class. The elder Fonoimoana was rated as the No. 3 player in Hawaii and the 33rd-best safety in the nation when he came to the Utes.
