Following the AFC and NFC Championship games this past Sunday, several former Utes are Super Bowl bound with hopes of raising the Lombardy Trophy on February 12, 2023 in Arizona.

With the Philadelphia Eagles dominating the 49ers in the NFC Championship 31-7, both Britain Covey and quarterback's coach Brian Johnson are set to face Alex Whittingham and the AFC Champion Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII.

In just his first season in the NFL, Utah legend Britain Covey has already reached the promised land and could be Super Bowl Champion in just a few short weeks. For the year, Covey recorded 308 yards on 33 punt returns, 18 of which were fair catches. He also returned 10 kickoffs for 206 yards.

In regards to Brian Johnson, this is his second season as the quarterbacks coach for the Eagles after joining the franchise in 2021. During his time, Johnson has helped quarterback Jalen Hurts emerge as a true star and record 6,845 yards with 38 TD's the last two seasons.

As for Whittingham, he is currently in his fifth season with the Chiefs and will make his third Super Bowl trip (2020, 2021, 2023).
