AP Top 25 College Football Update - 11/8
The AP College Football poll is out and Alabama is in the No. 1 spot for the first time this year. Clemson gave up the top spot after a double OT loss to Notre Dame. The fighting Irish fought hard and defeated the Tigers 47-40 on Saturday giving Clemson their first regular-season loss since 2017 and ending the nation's longest regular-season winning streak. Notre Dame earned themselves the Number 2 spot on the AP college rankings.
Ohio remained in the number 3 spot, Clemson landed at number 4 and Texas A&M moved up two spots to No. 5. Florida also jumped 2 spots to number 6 after beating Georgia in an SEC East rival matchup this weekend. Rounding out the top ten is No. 7 Cincinnati No. 8 BYU, No. 9 Miami and No. 10 Indiana.
