JUCO DL Receives WVU Offer

Iowa Western C.C. defensive lineman Perrion Winfrey was considered an under recruited prospect coming out of high school.

Since then, the JUCO product's offer list has exploded, including the likes of Miami, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Oklahoma and many others.

Late last month, West Virginia joined the mix for 6-foot-4, 306-pound Winfrey. And visiting Morgantown seems to be a must.

"Of course," Winfrey responded to a possible visit to WVU.

Winfrey added he could not take any visits until after this semester, however, but says he plans on committing sometime in the summer.

Winfrey doesn't claim any leaders at this time and is currently focused on making a run for a national championship this upcoming season and improving his overall game.
