Find out what time the Badgers and Buckeyes will kick off
This coming Saturday, Wisconsin will look to bounce back from a very tough home loss to Iowa when they hit the road to square off against Illinois. The following week, on Oct. 28, the Badgers will face their most talented opponent of the season when they host undefeated Ohio State at Camp Randall. We now know that Wisconsin's matchup against the No. 3 Buckeyes will be under the lights and will kick off at 6:30 p.m. CST.
A Golden Opportunity Lost
Heading into this past Saturday's matchup against Iowa, Wisconsin had a golden opportunity to take a stranglehold of the Big Ten West, but they fell flat during a 15-6 loss. Because of that loss, the Badgers have put themselves in a position where they will either need to win out and have Iowa lose at least one game down the stretch, or Wisconsin could lose one game, but they would then need the Hawkeyes to lose two more times during the regular season.
An Uphill Battle Ahead
Rather than controlling their own destiny, Wisconsin will now have to take care of business a get some help along the way. Unfortunately, they will have to do that without their starting quarterback, Tanner Mordecai, who broke his hand during the second quarter of Saturday's loss to Iowa. With Mordecai out indefinitely, the Badgers will roll with redshirt freshman Braedyn Locke.
The Buckeyes have owned the Badgers
Going back to 2011, Ohio State has won a whopping nine games in a row against Wisconsin, including a 52-14 win in 2022 when the two teams played in Columbus. The last time the Badgers defeated the Buckeyes was on October 16, 2010, when they walked away with a 31-18 win at Camp Randall.
