A Team Effort Seals Victory
Last night the Wisconsin Badgers took on the Boston College Eagles in the first game of their home opener series. The arena echoed with cheers as Lacey Eden, Sarah Wozniewicz, Marianne Piard, Britta Curl, and Chayla Edwards took turns to find the net for the Badgers. With this game, Wisconsin now has an impressive eight straight wins over the Eagles.
Boston College attempted a win after Wozniewicz's early goal, momentarily leading 3-2 at the end of the first period. But the Badgers' determination was on display as Piard tied early in the second period. Curl's goal reclaimed the lead for Wisconsin. Chayla Edwards delivered a blow late in the third period, marking her second career goal
