How to Watch Washington Nationals 2023 Spring Training Games: Broadcast Schedule
Spring training play has begun.
The Washington Nationals played their first spring training game Saturday, defeating the St. Louis Cardinals 3-2 in Jupiter, Florida.
Here's a look at the Nationals' entire spring training schedule:
The Nationals will have games broadcast on The Team 980, Nationals.com, 106.7 The Fan and MASN. The Nationals may still have other games broadcast on ESPN, MLB Network, MLB.TV and other local networks.
Here's a look at the Nationals' spring training broadcast schedule:
The Nationals, just four years removed from their magical World Series run, have entirely transformed their roster over the last few years. Over the last four years, stars Trea Turner, Max Scherzer, Juan Soto, Anthony Rendon and Bryce Harper have all either been traded, or have signed with another team as a free agent.
The Nationals are in a clear rebuild, but have a number of promising young players both at the big league level and in their farm system. The Nationals' lineup will include Keibert Ruiz, Dominic Smith, Luis Garcia, Jeimer Candelario, C.J. Abrams, Victor Robles, Lane Thomas, Stone Garrett and Joey Meneses.
The Nationals are coming off a poor 55-win season in 2022, in which the club finished in last place in the National League East and tallied 107 losses. It was the most losses the Nationals have recorded in a single-season since moving to Washington. The Montreal Expos finished 52-110 in their inaugural season in 1969.
The Nationals will have a difficult time moving up in the National League East this season, as they will have to compete with the reigning National League champion Philadelphia Phillies, and the New York Mets and Atlanta Braves, each of whom won 101 games last season. The Braves have won the NL East the last five years.
