Justin Tafa Speaks Out Following UFC Jacksonville Eye Poke

The UFC heavyweight is not happy.

UFC Jacksonville fighter Justin Tafa has strong feelings following his bout with Austen Lane.

Tafa and Lane went one-on-one inside the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida. The bout was featured on the main card of UFC Jacksonville. This was Lane's UFC debut.

This one didn't even make it to the 30-second mark. Early in the fight, Lane accidentally poked Tafa in the eye. It was clear that something was wrong with Tafa, as he quickly covered his face and turned around.

After being checked on by the doctor and referee Dan Miragliotta, it was apparent that Tafa could not continue. The bout was ruled a no contest.

Tafa was quick to take to his Twitter account to react to the result. He made it clear that he isn't thrilled about how things ended.

"I deserve my win bonus that’s a DQ man," Tafa said.

At this time, it isn't known what the damage to Tafa's eye is. At the very least, the UFC heavyweight isn't shy in letting the public know how he feels about the fight being called a no contest.
