
F1 News: Nico Hulkenberg Summoned To Stewards Ahead Of Brazilian GP Qualifying
Nico Hulkenberg has been summoned to the Stewards following contact with Lando Norris during the first Free Practice session.
The German driver was on the racing line during a slow lap and was supposedly unaware of Norris approaching from behind him. After Hulkenberg did not get out of the McLaren driver's way, Norris went to go around, however, the Haas driver ended up turning into him causing contact between the two drivers.

The race Stewards noted the incident and confirmed it would be investigated after the session. Now the session has come to an end, with Carlos Sainz putting in the fastest time followed by Charles Leclerc and George Russell, the Stewards have now summoned Hulkenberg. In the official letter, it states:
"The driver and team representative are required to report to the Stewards at 12:45, in relation to the incident below:
"27- Nico Hulkenberg.
"Alleged breach of Appendix L, Chatpter IV, Article 2 d) of the International Sporting Code - Turn 12 incident between Cars 4 [Lando Norris] and 27 [Nico Hulkenberg] at 12:03."
Hulkenberg put in the fourth fastest time during the first and only free practice session with his Haas teammate putting in the tenth fastest time.
