Singapore GP Results: Carlos Sainz Takes Victory Breaking Red Bull Winning Streak
Carlos Sainz won the Singapore Grand Prix under the lights of the Marina Bay Street Circuit.
Following the Spanish driver to cross the line were Lando Norris and Lewis Hamilton who finished in second and third, respectively.

The race start saw Yuki Tsunoda suffer from a puncture after contact with one of the Red Bulls forcing him to retire from the race on the second lap. Luckily, he was able to pull his AT04 off the track at Turn 14 so a red flag was not required.
On Lap 20, Logan Sargeant crashed into the wall at Turn 8 causing a safety car to be put on the session. The American driver was able to get the car back to the pits whilst dragging the front wing and was able to continue with the race.
Penalty: Fernando Alonso was given a five second penalty for crossing the pit lane entry line.
Esteban Ocon was the second driver forced to retire from the race after he encountered a suspected power unit failure. On top of this, Valtteri Bottas was also forced to retire due to a suspected hydraulics issue. The Finnish driver was able to get his Alfa Romeo back to the pits, avoiding a safety car.
