SI World Golf Rankings: Brooks Koepka Reaches New Heights

Koepka earned his fifth career major title on Sunday at Oak Hill, and this week his ranking is at an all-time high on our list.

Brooks Koepka has earned career major title No. 5, and with it comes a new place among the all-time greats and a big jump in the new SI World Golf Rankings, hot off the press Monday morning.

Koepka was already on the rise this year, as the SIWGR awards points for LIV Golf events, PGA Tour events and other tours around the world. But Koepka’s Oak Hill triumph takes him to new heights: No. 3 on our latest list. (See how we do the calculations here.)

Koepka’s rise buries another headline from this week’s SIWGR edition: Scottie Scheffler’s runner-up finish at Oak Hill was enough for him to jump Jon Rahm and reclaim the No. 1 spot. Scheffler and Rahm have traded the top ranking back and forth since the SIWGR launched back in February.

Of course, there were many other big moves coming out of a major week. Here are some notable risers and fallers in the new SI World Golf Rankings.
