Dodgers News: Dave Roberts Wants LA To Start Focusing on the Little Things Again

In order to have a successful season, many things need to go right. Of course the big things like having one of the best offenses in the game, having a quality pitching staff that hold down the fort, and preventing injuries is also a huge part of a successful season.
But Dodgers manager Dave Roberts pointed out that there are a lot more issues than just those that every fan has noticed so far:
"To me it's more than just playing to win a game, it's more about how we do it. And I think we've gotten away from how we go about things. ... There's obviously been a lot of talk about the bullpen. But I think within that, there's still things that defensively we can do to not give away bases. And I think offensively we're leaving runners out there more than we should. So I think, for us, it's the little things that we need to be mindful of, then the ultimate result will take care of itself.""For me, the messaging is 'let's focus on minding those little things.'"
If fixing the little things is all it would take to turn this season around, then it should happen pretty fast, right?
Well, it's all easier said than done in the eyes of Roberts and the players. Little things have kept this team from winning World Series in the past, little things have stopped them from becoming a true dynasty, and Roberts is trying his hardest to keep this team together and get back to the promised land.
