Two-time All-Star, Walker Beuhler, is on the road to recovery from his second Tommy John surgery and flexor tendon repair last August.

In his limited 2022 season, the hard-throwing righty spotted a 4.02 ERA in 65 innings of work and only struck out 58 batters. Fans and coaches could tell something was off and those suspicions were confirmed after a look at the damage to his elbow.

Almost a year removed from the injury, the now 29-year-old pitcher looks at a possible return this month.

This news comes at a premium time as the Dodgers had been rumored to want starting pitchers for the entire trade deadline. A return to action with Budhler would look to improve LA's current ranking of 22nd in team ERA with 4.49.

The former ace has been very active on social media covering his return to the bigs and posting videos of every step he makes.

While a potential return may not be coming soon, any return this season for the star pitcher will be an improvement and a much-needed addition to the rotation that has been very shaky during the season.

The Dodgers sitting at 60-45 puts them at 1st in the NL West, but their opponents in San Francisco and Arizona are only 2.5 and 4.5 games back, respectively. All three teams made moves to improve their individual rosters, so a competitive race to top the NL West is in order.
