Recently Traded Dodgers Prospect Thanks Team, Fans for Time in LA
Adding some pieces to a roster before the trade deadline means you have to get rid of some pieces first, and that's exactly what the Dodgers decided to do with Andre Jackson as the right-handed reliever is traded to the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The 27-year-old prospect out of the University of Utah has been a part of the Dodgers farm system since 2017 and has seen the mound seven times this season, posting a 6.62 ERA and a WHIP of 1.42 in 17.2 innings pitched.
Despite only making 14 appearances since his debut in 2021 with the Dodgers, Jackson took the time to share his appreciation with the Los Angeles faithful.
I want to say thank you to the Dodgers for allowing me to grow into a big leaguer and making my dreams come true! Forever grateful for my coaches, Dodger fans, and most importantly my teammates! It’s been a crazy 6 years but I’m pumped to see what the next chapter has in store. Pittsburgh let’s do it. Let’s go Bucs!! 🖤💛

The man they called "A Jax" couldn't quite put it all together while with the Dodgers but he should have a real opportunity with a young Pittsburgh team. He was assigned to Triple-A after joining the Pirates organization and has yet to appear in a game.
