As the regular season is wrapping up, and the Friars have virtually no chance of making the 2023 postseason, the Padres are looking forward to what will be a busy offseason.
Pitcher Blake Snell, who is essentially a guarantee to win the NL Cy Young award, said that he loves playing for San Diego, but he will likely demand a high contract after a career year.
