ARLINGTON, Texas — The Texas Rangers wrapped up an undefeated homestand and a sweep of the Miami Marlins, winning 6-0 on Sunday at Globe Life Field.
Andrew Heaney threw another solid start for the Rangers (66-46), and four different Rangers hit home runs.
The Marlins (58-55) managed just six hits off Rangers pitching and stranded six baserunners.
The Rangers maintained their lead over the Houston Astros, who were in New York to face the Yankees on Sunday. Texas is also back to 20 games above .500, tying a season high.
