SI Insider: Due to a Rule Newly Implemented for the 2020 MLB Season the Bunt May See a Revival
The bunt could be making a comeback this season after Major League teams posting record lows for bunting. The reason for the comeback will be due to a newly implemented rule wherein a game going to extra innings will have a runner start off in scoring position on second base. SI's Tom Verducci explains the rule and how the resurgence of the bunt will impact the game.
