Knicks vs. Celtics Prediction for Today, 11/13 on NBA TV
The Knicks played a Sunday afternoon game against the Charlotte Hornets, which could lead to heavy legs tonight. Although they grabbed a 22-point victory, five players logged 26+ minutes, and this is their third back-to-back game this year, losing the first two by an average of 7.5 points.
What stands out with New York is their consistently strong defense, ranking second in the league for defensive rating since bringing in Tom Thibodeau. Julius Randle's recent performance is also promising, scoring 20+ points in the last three games with improved efficiency. Notably, he tends to shine against the Celtics, averaging 26.8 points and 9.0 rebounds in the past five matchups.
Boston enters this game on a two-game winning streak, defeating Brooklyn and Toronto by double digits. They've had some struggles in the last four games, going 2-2 SU with challenges against teams like the Minnesota Timberwolves and Philadelphia 76ers. Although they suffered two losses, both defeats came on the road, and I think they will remain perfect at the TD Garden tonight.
Historically, the Celtics have found it tough against the Knicks, covering the spread only twice in the last seven meetings at TD Garden. New York squeaked out a two-point win here last March, and this is the perfect revenge spot for Boston. I anticipate a Boston victory, but instead of taking them on the point spread, I made a Same Game Parlay.

If you'd rather target a New York player, I'd recommend a bet on Julius Randle O19.5 points (+105 at DraftKings). The Knicks star only had 14 points when these teams met earlier this season, but he was just 5-22 from the floor. He's found his form in recent games and has 23, 23 and 27 in the Knicks' last three contests.
Randle is shooting just 33.6% from the floor this season, but that number has bumped up to 44.6% in the last three games. If Randle can shoot at a similar clip tonight, I expect him to surpass his point total, as he should get 15-20 shots. If he plays aggressively from the start, he should score 20+ for the fourth straight contest, so I'd recommend a bet on Julius Randle O19.5 points (+105 at DraftKings).
