Sunday, the C's, who still sit atop the NBA standings with a 32-10 record, look to get back in the win column and start their three-game road trip on a positive note in a rematch with the Houston Rockets.
Boston bested the hosts of Sunday's tilt in Ime Udoka's return to TD Garden, earning a decisive 145-113 victory.
As the two teams conclude their regular-season series, the visitors will have to overcome the absence of Jrue Holiday due to a right elbow sprain he's been dealing with recently.
The two-time All-Star registered seven points, three assists, and two rebounds Friday against the Nuggets.
Al Horford (rest) is also out for the front end of this back-to-back. The former Florida Gator generated six points, ten rebounds, and two assists against the defending champions.
But with the Celtics squaring off against the Dallas Mavericks on Monday, the 16-year veteran will wait to suit up on this road trip until they face Luka Doncic and former teammates Grant Williams and Kyrie Irving.
Sunday's contest against a Rockets that again plays Boston in the second half of a back-to-back after prevailing 127-126 in an overtime tilt vs. the Utah Jazz will tip off at 7:00 p.m. EST.
