While Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards is known for his offensive game, he takes pride in his defense as well. Addressing this after Wednesday night's win over the Memphis Grizzlies, Edwards called out the media for not watching enough Timberwolves games.

"I think people gotta watch more Minnesota Timberwolves games, as far as whoever the f--k the voters are. You just gotta watch the games. It's not my first time doing this. I have nights like this all the time where somebody gets hot, or the best player gets hot, and I go shut them down the rest of the game and nobody sees it but y'all. I think that goes into my votes of All-Defensive team, but nobody sees it, only y'all see it. I think they gotta watch more games. I think that's the outcome."

Edwards added that he would love to take on even more tough defensive assignments now that he's in his best shape of the season, but he wants to make sure that media members outside of Minnesota are actually watching the games. Believing he should get some All-Defensive recognition, Edwards wants the NBA world to see what he is doing on that end of the court.

The Timberwolves are a great team, and Edwards is their best player, so he should certainly be receiving some more national media attention.
