Ja Morant is out with a right shoulder labral tear repair, Steven Adams is out due to right knee PCL surgery, Desmond Bane is out due to a left ankle sprain, Brandon Clarke is out due to left Achilles tendon repair, Luke Kennard is doubtful with left knee soreness, John Konchar is questionable due to a left ankle sprain, Jake LaRavia is out due to a left ankle sprain, Derrick Rose is doubtful due to a left hamstring strain, Marcus Smart is out due to a right ring finger central slip tear, and Ziaire Williams is out due to left-hand soreness.
The Cleveland Cavaliers have five players listed on their injury report: Emoni Bates, Ty Jerome, Evan Mobley, Isaiah Mobley, and Tristan Thompson. Emoni Bates is out due to a G League two-way, Ty Jerome is out due to right ankle surgery, Evan Mobley is out due to left knee injury management, Isaiah Mobley is out due to a G League two-way, and Tristan Thompson is out due to a league suspension.
It's going to take everything the Grizzlies have and more to survive tonight's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Younger players like GG Jackson will have to show what they're truly capable of for the Grizzlies to stand any form of a chance against the red-hot Cavaliers.
