Star Player Ruled Out for Milwaukee Bucks vs. Memphis Grizzlies
The Memphis Grizzlies have released their injury report vs. Milwaukee
The Memphis Grizzlies are set to face the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night, but they will be without star guard Desmond Bane. Memphis has released their injury report for this game, and Bane is being ruled out with back soreness.
Bane has missed a lot of time this season, but that has primarily been due to an ankle sprain. Having played just 42 games this season, Bane is one of several Grizzlies players who has missed significant time. Averaging a career high 23.7 PPG, Bane has had a great year when on the court, but unfortunately for him and the Grizzlies, he has spent a lot of time sidelined.
A healthy backcourt of Ja Morant and Desmond Bane is one of the best in basketball, but the Grizzlies got very little of that this season. Morant has played even less than Bane, appearing in just nine games this season. The Grizzlies picked up a win over the Detroit Pistons in their last contest, but have won just three of their last 10 games.
This matchup with the Bucks will be a tough one, as Milwaukee currently owns the second best record in the Eastern Conference. Memphis is well out of the playoff picture at 25-50, but will look to build some momentum in these last two weeks that they can potentially carry over into next season.
