How Miami Heat's Twitter Reacted To Tuesday's Win Over Atlanta Hawks

The Miami Heat won a two-overtime thriller over the Atlanta Hawks.

A six-quarter Miami Heat victory over the Atlanta Hawks brought in a mix of reactions from fans.

On one hand, it was a thrilling game that showed Miami can gut it out when things get close. Tyler Herro led the way with a 33-point performance, showing significance to the team's offensive success. Jimmy Butler and Nikola Jovic each added 20-point games, including a combined 15 points in the fourth quarter/overtime periods. Haywood Highsmith came alive late, totaling 13 points on 43 percent shooting from 3-point range.

It's safe to say fans are happy to have Herro back. Hopefully, he continues this progression to aid Miami's reeling offense. He and Jovic dominated Heat Twitter.

"Tyler Herro is a needle mover," user Floridian said. "Nikola JoviΔ‡ is a most improved player. These two saved us in double overtime. Never wanna hear we don’t need them from Heat fans. On to the next one tomorrow night."

With that being said, needing two extra quarters to beat the Hawks without Trae Young grew some concerns, especially since they blew another double-digit lead in the process.

Regardless, a win is a win, which Miami needs to avoid being a play-in team again. They must win out and need some outside help to move ahead of the Indiana Pacers and Philadelphia 76ers.

The Heat play the Dallas Mavericks (49-30) Wednesday night.
