Before Jimmy Butler joined the Miami Heat in 2019, he was just another NBA All-Star.

Since, he has become more of a celebrity. He has appeared in commercials, television shows and became a multi-platform superstar. His latest exposure is an appearance in a Fall Out Boy music video. The song is title "So Much (For) Stardust."

Butler is seen lip-synching the lyrics while wearing a purple ensemble that resembles a cowboy outfit. He is also showing off his "Emo Jimmy" look he displayed last fall during team media day.

Butler has always had a taste for music. He's sang Hall & Oates in an Old Spice commercial. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, he said he is already "in the lab" working on becoming a country music singer once his NBA career ends.

He's never hid his love for the likes of Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, George Strait and Garth Brooks.

"I don’t want to tell anyone who I’ve been writing with because then it’ll ruin the surprise," Butler said. "Now, I’m in the lab writing and producing country music. We got some real artists and songwriters. We probably got around 45 tracks right now, and I hope to go write some more."
