Starting off blazing hot during the 2023 NBA Summer League, Utah Jazz rookie Keyonte George had the hype train in full force leading up to the Summer League playoffs. Of course, as all good things come to an end, a sudden ankle injury would pop up, forcing George out of the remainder of the action until the team’s next appearance in training camp.

An MRI at the time of the injury revealed no fractures, ensuring all would be well in his long-term recovery. Since then, however, any new developments had been quiet surrounding the severity or duration of George’s injury.

Until today...

According to Jazz reporter Sarah Todd of Deseret News, George has been cleared for all on-court activities, giving every fan in Utah a needed breath of fresh air.

With around two months until the 2023-24 NBA season officially kicks off, there was still available time to spare for any additional recovery if necessary. Without his tweaked ankle seemingly as nothing major, Keyonte can now get back to the court with tons of time remaining to get back to a true 100% before his debut.

An underwhelming Summer League for Jazz fans ultimately resulted in all three of their first-rounders being forced out of the action due to injury. Those days now look to be behind us, with George, Taylor Hendricks, and Brice Sensabaugh all given ample time in the summer to recover.

After an electric performance in Vegas last month, Jazz fans will eagerly await next season to see what else the 16th-overall pick has in store in the pros.
