Lakers Injury Report: Troubling Update For LeBron James Ahead Of Warriors Game

The 45-34 Los Angeles Lakers may be missing their 20-time All-Star tonight against the Golden State Warriors, who at 43-35 are just 1.5 games behind them as the play-in tournament's No. 10 seed.

Four-time league MVP forward LeBron James could miss his second straight game with a lingering illness defined by the NBA's most recent injury report as flu-like symptoms. Sources have informed ESPN's Dave McMenamin that James has yet to touch down at Crypto.com Arena, with less than two hours remaining until the TNT broadcast's 7 p.m. PT tipoff. Officially, he's still questionable to suit up.

Big men Jarred Vanderbilt (right mid-foot sprain) and Christian Wood (left knee surgery) are already out, so losing James would be a blow to the team's frontcourt.

But perhaps most concerning among the list of Los Angeles absences is the just-announced unavailability of James' fellow future Hall of Famer, All-Star Lakers center Anthony Davis, who remain on the shelf with a headache and nausea stemming from his lingering left eye injury, according to Jovan Buha of The Athletic.
