Clippers Make Another Trade Ahead of Wednesday's Battle of LA Against Lakers

The Clippers just keep on making moves.

The Los Angeles Clippers shocked the NBA world this week when they made a blockbuster trade with the Philadelphia 76ers for superstar James Harden.

The Clippers had been in talks with Philadelphia for seemingly months regarding Harden, and finally, just a week into the new season, the two sides worked out a deal.

Harden and P.J. Tucker came to the Clippers along with Filip Petrusev, while four players and tons of picks went back to Philadelphia and Oklahoma City even got involved with the picks.

But on Wednesday, that trade was yet to be finalized, and another team got involved, too.

The Clippers traded Petrusev to the Sacramento Kings for cash, which likely will be the final piece of the puzzle in the Harden trade. Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported the deal.

The Kings are taking a chance on the 23-year-old center while the Clippers get a little more cash — something they could use as they add Harden's contract to a team that is already paying Paul George and Kawhi Leonard.

Harden isn't going to suit up on Wednesday against the Lakers, but P.J. Tucker is hoping to play as long as the trade gets finalized in time.

Paul George and Kawhi Leonard will be in there, too, as the Clippers look to win their 12th straight against the Lakers.
