The Denver Nuggets have released their injury report for Friday night's game vs. the Houston Rockets, and while Jamal Murray remains out, Nikola Jokic will be available. The Nuggets have gone just 4-4 in the eight games Murray has been sidelined, but the star guard seems to be progressing towards a return. For now, Denver will have to continue relying heavily on the reigning Finals MVP.

While they have cooled off a bit recently, the Rockets have gotten off to a much better start to this season than they have the last few years. Sitting at 7-6 through 13 games, Houston has been a tough opponent, and especially at home. While the Rockets remain winless on the road, they are 7-1 at home, which is where they will be playing the Nuggets in this one.

As previously mentioned, Denver has hit a bit of a skid since Murray went down with injury. Still a very solid 10-5 on the season, Denver sits just 1.5 games back of first place, but they certainly expect to play better than they have over their last several games.

Houston will be a tough test for the Nuggets on Friday night, as they have a competitive group that plays together and battles hard. The Nuggets will look to pick up a win in this in-season tournament matchup.
