Jokic has appeared on the injury report with this left hip inflammation quite a bit recently, but it has not required him to miss any time.
This game against the Jazz is undoubtedly one that Denver should win. Utah enters this game on a 12-game losing streak, as they need losses more than wins at this point in the season. Denver enters this game having won seven of their last 10 games, and currently sit in a tie with the Minnesota Timberwolves atop the Western Conference. Trying to secure the first seed, Denver will need to finish the year strong, as neither Minnesota or the Oklahoma City Thunder have given them any breathing room.
Following this game against the Jazz, Denver will face Minnesota on Wednesday night. This game will go a long way towards determining who gets the first seed in the Western Conference. After that game against the Timberwolves, the Nuggets will face the San Antonio Spurs and Memphis Grizzlies to close out the regular season.
A lot can happen in this final week of the regular season, and Denver will look to secure the first seed. and home court advantage throughout the Western Conference playoffs.
