Pelicans Forward Brandon Ingram Status For Rockets Game Still In The Air
New Orleans, LA - Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram is questionable to play in Thursday night's game against the Rockets. New Orleans lists Ingram with a non-Covid related illness, and will be a game-time decision. Ingram is averaging 21.4 points on 49% shooting from the floor this season. His playmaking skills are coming into focus lately, where he's dished out at least six assists in seven straight games.
Ingram's 5.8 assists leads the Pelicans this season and matches his career-high set last year. If Ingram can't play, more load will be placed on Zion Williamson and CJ McCollum to shoulder the scoring and playmaking responsibility. Ingram has appeared in 51 games this season, helping New Orleans to a 33-22 record at the All-Star break, their best since the 2008 season. The Pelicans are 3-1 without Ingram this year.
