Suns Reveal Starters vs Cavs

The Phoenix Suns will roll out the following starters against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Suns hope to keep themselves in the win column when they play host to the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight.

Suns coach Frank Vogel has opted for the following starting lineup:

Devin Booker
Bradley Beal
Royce O'Neale
Kevin Durant
Jusuf Nurkic

The Suns have won their last five-of-seven entering tonight. With a 44-31 record, they're currently in charge of the No. 8 seed out West.

Ahead of action, the Suns ruled both Damion Lee (meniscus surgery) and Grayson Allen (left hip soreness) out vs Cleveland.

Lee has missed the entire season after having the surgery ahead of training camp while Allen has started the second-most games for Phoenix at 69. He played 30+ minutes in Monday's win vs New Orleans.

Vogel said Allen's hip injury was "pretty inflamed" and is something he's managed throughout his career. The Suns expect him to be day-to-day moving forward.

O'Neale gets his seventh start since landing with the Suns at the NBA trade deadline back in February.

Cleveland is coming off the first night of a back-to-back after defeating the Utah Jazz. Their 46-30 record is good for No. 3 out East.

The Suns certainly hope Devin Booker can continue his hot scoring after another 50-point performance on Monday.

“He was in attack mode everywhere, there was spaces at the three-point line, he was looking to rise up and when there’s an avenue to the lane he was like I said he was going to get to the rim or the free throw line, so he was doing it all," Vogel said of Booker.

Opening tip is slated for 7:00 PM local time.
