Game Info For Showdown With Boston, Dwane Casey On Matchup
The Pistons are playing solid basketball as of late despite coming off a loss against Chicago. Tonight, the order is tall in Boston against the 40-27 Celtics, but Detroit did beat them in Detroit a few weeks ago. Here's everything you need to know ahead of tonight's matchup with the Cs.
How To Watch
The Celtics are currently 5th in the Eastern Conference and have won four games in a row. In fact, they've only lost twice in their last 17 outings. Of course, one of those was to Detroit just two weeks ago, so the young Pistons should be confident even though the Celtics are very talented and this one is in Beantown.
Injury Report
The Pistons are going to be down several contributors int his one. Starting center Isaiah Stewart is still out with a right knee bone bruise as are key reserves Hamidou Diallo, Killian Hayes and Rodney McGruder. Frank Jackson is also out, but he's been in and out of the lineup for a while with back issues. This all likely means heavy minutes for Cade Cunningham, Saddiq Bey and Jerami Grant.
Probable Starters
As you can see, with Stewart out, Marvin Bagley III will get the start at center again. Bagley has been solid for the Pistons and seems poised for a double-double just about every night. He's been good as a lob threat for Detroit and also has the length and bounce to be a very good rebounder and defender. The rest of the starting line is as usual.
