The San Antonio Spurs are no longer on their franchise-worst losing streak after it was snapped with a win on Friday against the Los Angeles Lakers.
The win against the Lakers pushed the Spurs one spot up in the latest NBA power rankings from CBS Sports. The team is now at No. 26 instead of No. 27.

"San Antonio rejoice! The Spurs put to rest a franchise-record 18-game losing streak with a win over the Lakers on Friday, as Devin Vassell poured in a career-best 36 points," CBS Sports writes. "They followed that up with a 36-point loss to New Orleans, but any week with a win is a good week for the Spurs."
The Spurs rank ahead of the Portland Trail Blazers, Memphis Grizzlies, Charlotte Hornets and Detroit Pistons.
The Spurs will look to get even further ahead this week when they visit the Milwaukee Bucks (Tue.), Chicago Bulls (Thu.) and Dallas Mavericks (Sat.).
