Suns-Nuggets Game 6 Injury Report: Deandre Ayton, Jamal Murray, Chris Paul
The Phoenix Suns take on the Denver Nuggets tonight for a pivotal Game 6 at 7:00 PM PST.
It's a critical game for both teams but there are some important players that are on the injury report.
Chris Paul has already been ruled out for tonight's game due to a groin injury. Paul has missed Games 3, 4 and 5 of this series. In Games 1 and 2 prior to his injury, Paul averaged 9.5 points, 2.5 assists and 5.5 rebounds.
Deandre Ayton has been officially ruled out with hip contusion for tonight's contest. Throughout this series, Ayton has averaged 10.8 points, 8.2 rebounds and 1.2 assists. He has been criticized for his lack of aggression on both the offensive and defensive end. This injury could explain his limited production in this series.
Jamal Murray was a late addition to the injury report as he is now questionable to play with an illness. Murray has been effective in this series averaging 24.6 points, 5.6 rebounds and seven assists.
If Murray is unable to go that would be a huge blow for the Nuggets being that he is currently the team's second leading scorer and main ball handler.
In a game with so much importance it's strange to see all these impactful players sidelined to injury but both the Suns and Nuggets will be forced to use the next man up mentality and trust their respective supporting cast.
