LeBron James in for Lakers-Wolves game Saturday
LeBron James is in on his 39th birthday.
Despite being listed as questionable with a non-COVID illness ahead of Saturday’s game against the Timberwolves at Target Center, the Los Angeles Lakers star will start in Minneapolis.
Lakers coach Darvin Ham was unsure if James would be available ahead of the game and said he's been dealing with flu-like symptoms from a common cold that's been going around the team.
James had missed the Wolves and Lakers’ Dec. 21 game at Target Center when Los Angeles was on the second half of a back to back. Notably, several star players throughout the NBA have been missing for games against the Wolves in downtown Minneapolis.
But Wolves fans Saturday will get the chance to see James, who in his 21st season is averaging 25.1 points, 7.6 rebounds and 7.4 assists for the Lakers.
