Anthony Edwards questionable for Timberwolves-Clippers clash
A left knee contusion has Anthony Edwards listed as questionable for Sunday's clash between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Los Angeles Clippers.
Edwards, 22, played 27 minutes and finished with nine points, six assists and three rebounds in Minnesota's blowout win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday.
He did not play in the fourth quarter, though neither did Rudy Gobert and other Timberwolves stars because Minnesota was nursing a lead of more than 30 points and they went on to win 116-93.
Minnesota (27-11) has been in first place in the Western Conference for nearly two months but the Clippers (25-13) are charging, having won 17 of 20 after starting the season 8-10.
Los Angeles has had win streaks of nine and five games during the stretch and they enter Sunday's game in Minneapolis on a three-game win streak.
If Edwards does play, it'll be a battle of two star-studded starting lineups.
