Wolves list Anthony Edwards as questionable ahead of Friday's game against Hawks
Edwards leads Minnesota in points with 26.3-per-game
Anthony Edwards has been listed as questionable ahead of Friday night's game against the Atlanta Hawks due to illness.
The star guard hasn't missed a game for Minnesota since missing three-of-four in early December due to a hip injury. Minnesota were 2-1 in those three games without the young guard. Edwards leads Minnesota in points with 26.3-per-game while also averaging 5.5 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game for the Wolves this season.
The Wolves are in a heated race for the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference playoffs with just two games remaining. The Denver Nuggets currently hold a one game lead over the Wolves and Thunder.
Minnesota are reportedly set to see star forward Karl-Anthony Towns return to game action for the first time in over a month. The Athletic's Shams Charania reported Thursday that Towns is 'on track' to return Friday night against the Hawks.
Tip off is set for 7 p.m. Friday night as the Wolves host the Hawks at the Target Center.
