Cavaliers vs. Warriors Prediction for Saturday, 11/11 on NBA TV

Part of the Warriors’ strong 6-3 start was actually a loss to the Cavs, but that was a road game directly a back-and-forth 141-139 game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. It was also one where Kevon Looney wasn’t able to play his full complement of minutes, which allowed Donovan Mitchell to easily drive through the lane.

Since we don’t expect that to be the case again, we’re expected to see what we normally do from Golden State when playing Cleveland. Prior to that recent matchup, the Warriors had won a ridiculous 16 straight games against the Cavs. More importantly for our purposes, they’ve also had no issues covering the spread.

In the last 15 games against Cleveland, Golden State is an incredible 12-3 against the spread. We also saw Cleveland lose to the aforementioned Thunder directly following that rare win over the Warriors. We’re confident that Steph Curry and company are going to have that loss fresh in their minds and be ready for revenge. So, we’ll be taking Golden State -4 (-108 at FanDuel Sportsbook) with our Cavaliers vs. Warriors prediction.

Cavaliers vs. Warriors Player Props & Free Picks Featuring Steph Curry & Evan Mobley

To go along with our Cavaliers vs. Warriors prediction, let’s dive into some player props. After Cleveland finished last season with the best defense on a points per game average, they’ve been hanging out in the middle of the pack in that regard this season.

With their overall defense not looking quite as strong, it’s an opportunity for us to take advantage. We’ll be the first to admit that we don’t always prefer to target Curry, especially at home, with his props usually rather inflated, but he continues to prove that he thrives against the Cavs.

They may not be matchups against LeBron anymore, but Curry has been acting as if they are. He was only available in one of their meetings last year, but he went off for 40 points. He averaged 34 points per game against them two seasons ago, so even his 28 points against them the other night was mild in the grand scheme of things.

We just saw Cleveland allow 43 points to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, so we’ll get our Cavaliers vs. Warriors player props started with Steph Curry over 27.5 points (-125 at FanDuel Sportsbook). As for our second pick, we’re going to target a Cavs player to pull down some boards.

That would be Evan Mobley, and he’s off to a great start to the season in that regard. The Cleveland forward is averaging just under 11 rebounds per game, and we just saw Golden State struggle on the glass. Of course, Denver’s Nikola Jokic can grab rebounds against anybody, but the more concerning part was seeing Aaron Gordon pull down 11 himself.

Mobley also had 20 rebounds in two games against the Warriors last season, and that’s nothing compared to what he did against Golden State last week. He pulled down a ridiculous 16 boards, so we’re going to target Evan Mobley over 9.5 rebounds (+106 at FanDuel Sportsbook) with the other pick from our Cavaliers vs. Warriors player props.
