Warriors vs. Suns Prediction for Wednesday, 11/22 on ESPN

Unfortunately for both teams and their fans, there are significant storylines for both sides. The Warriors will still be without Draymond Green due to suspension following the scuffle in the Minnesota Timberwolves game.

As for Phoenix, they will be without Bradley Beal for at least a couple of weeks. If we want to tack on another one, it’s Kevin Durant facing his former team, but that is far on the backburner at this point. With both teams affected in terms of the absence of a significant player, we should be in for a relatively even matchup.

However, we’re still more than happy to back the Warriors, especially with how they turned the narrative around when it comes to playing on the road. Of course, their recent skid doesn’t help with that, but the Suns defense has been as poor as ever lately. Despite pulling off close wins, they just allowed 137 and 128 points in back-to-back games before being on the court just last night.

They’ve been able to overcome that poor defense thanks to elite scoring, but no Beal means they will be down quite a prolific scorer. Durant and Booker will likely still get theirs, so we’d also suggest taking the over on top of our Warriors vs. Suns prediction. However, we’re going to take the value on Golden State’s money line (+118 at FanDuel Sportsbook) and back them to get their revenge from last month’s loss.

Warriors vs. Suns Player Prop Picks & Expert Best Bets

Given that we’re expecting a high-scoring affair, our Warriors vs. Suns player props will likely come as no surprise. After all, four of the last five games between these teams have gone over the total.

Given how Steph Curry has become a household name at this point, his props are often inflated. Whether it’s his three pointers made or overall points prop, it’s generally one to avoid unless you’re looking to back the under. However, this matchup with Phoenix is one where we’re not backing away.

Curry is already averaging over 30 points per game this season, and he’s going to need to take over even more with Draymond out of the lineup. He also averaged just under 30 points per game against Phoenix in their four matchups last year, and Phoenix just allowed a 38 and 37-point scorer in their past two games prior to last night.

Therefore, we’ll get our Warriors vs. Suns player props started with Steph Curry over 30.5 points (-104 at FanDuel Sportsbook). We already mentioned that Durant and Booker will likely get theirs, but Durant hasn’t exactly excelled against his former team. In two of his last three games against the Warriors, he’s been held to less than 20 points.

On the flip side, Booker has thrived. He averaged 31 points per game against Golden State last season and has been on a tear overall this year since returning from injury. In his first two games back, he had 31 points both nights, and prior to his injury, he scored 32 points against the Warriors.

With that in mind, we’ll add to our Warriors vs. Suns prediction with another player prop - Devin Booker over 28.5 points (-104 at FanDuel Sportsbook).
