Draymond Green Gives Update on Future With Warriors

Draymond Green wants to run it back with Steph and Klay.

The biggest question about the Golden State Warriors as soon as the season ended was what happens with the core of this team? There were already murmurs of Draymond Green leaving the team during the regular season, but it looks like he's squashing those rumors right now.

In an episode of The Draymond Green Show, Green revealed that he wants to run it back with Steph Curry and Klay Thompson.

"I was talking to Klay as we were sitting at the table last night," Green said. "Ty, Klay, Steph, and myself, just like how important and big of a summer this is. Like, how locked in we need to be. No, I don't think this is it. I'll say it right here for you, this isn't it. We plan on doing this again. That's the plan, obviously, this is a business and things has to take place."

Klay Thompson didn't look like himself in many moments during the NBA Playoffs, especially in Game 6 against the Los Angeles Lakers. Despite that, Klay is even more motivated than ever to come back strong next season with Steph and Draymond.

"But we plan on doing this again, and the first thing [Klay] said was, 'Hell yeah, I still want to be an All-Star again, I still want to win multiple championships again.'...To still have those conversations 11 years later, that's why we win. That's why we'll win again."

It's nice to hear the big three for the Warriors want to run it back, but what matters most is their ability to win basketball games. Next season will definitely say a lot about this team if it goes in the same direction as this season.
