NBA Analyst Gives Shocking Opinion About Chris Paul

Stephen A. Smith believes this is Chris Paul's final chance.

Chris Paul has had a plethora of chances to win an NBA title. From his time with the LA Clippers, to the Houston Rockets, to the Phoenix Suns, and now with the Golden State Warriors. ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith believes if Paul doesn't win this season with the Warriors, he's never going to win an NBA Championship.

On an episode of First Take, Stephen A. Smith proclaimed that this is Chris Paul's last chance to win an NBA Championship.

"I believe so," Smith said. "I think this is it. If he can't do it now, he ain't gonna get it done. He's one of the great point guards in NBA history, top 5 assists all-time, I'll say it before, I'll say it again. But I don't know if they'll put it this year, but this is his best chance to win one."

It's a very bold prediction by Stephen A. Smith, especially because Chris Paul will always be wanted by a championship-contending team until the end of his career. It's unlikely that Chris Paul will be on a bad basketball team again before he retires from the game of basketball. In the last 10 years, Paul hasn't been on a non-contending team besides his individual year with the Oklahoma City Thunder. That said, watching him on the Golden State Warriors will still be the most fascinating year of his career to date.
