Warriors Announce Roster Move After Loss to Nuggets

In the early stages of this season, the Golden State Warriors have had their rookies move back and forth from the G-League to the NBA quite a bit. Wanting both Trayce Jackson-Davis and Brandin Podziemski to get valuable reps in the G-League while also having opportunities to contribute at the NBA level, the Warriors have sent them up and down several times already.
Following Golden State's loss to the Denver Nuggets, the team announced that Jackson-Davis and Podziemski had been sent back down to the Santa Cruz Warriors in an official statement that read the following:
"The Golden State Warriors have assigned center/forward Trace Jackson-Davis and guard Brandin Podziemski to the team's G League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors, it was announced today. Both players are expected to play in Santa Cruz's season opener tomorrow night when the Warriors host the Stockton Kings at Kaiser Permanente Arena (7 p.m. PDT tipoff). Jackson-Davis owns averages of 4.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and 9.2 minutes in six games with Golden State this season. Podziemski is averaging 2.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 10.8 minutes over four games with Golden State."
The likeliest scenario is that both players will play in the G-League game on Friday, and rejoin the big club for the game at home vs. Cleveland on Saturday. The veterans like having the rookies around, and they have made an impact on and off the court.
