Warriors Star Unexpectedly Ruled OUT vs Washington Wizards

One Warriors All-Star is now no longer playing.

The Golden State Warriors were supposed to have their full rotation available against the Washington Wizards tonight, but it looks like that dream is already over.

The Warriors have officially listed Andrew Wiggins as out for tonight's game against the Wizards due to personal reasons. The downgrade came very unexpectedly, as Wiggins was just available to play as of yesterday. Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green are still listed as available to play.

Even though the Wizards don't have a great record, tonight's game was an important one for multiple reasons. The Golden State Warriors were finally going to get Chris Paul back for the first time since January 5 and could start experimenting with full roster lineups. On top of that, Draymond Green and Jordan Poole are finally facing off for the first time ever since the infamous punch between the two in practice. Green was not available the first time that these two teams faced off this season.

Last season, Andrew Wiggins missed an extended period of time due to personal reasons that seemed to be quite serious. Hopefully, this isn't the same situation for Wiggins and everything within his personal life is okay.

Despite not having Andrew Wiggins, the Golden State Warriors should have more than enough firepower to defeat the 9-48 Washington Wizards tonight.

The Golden State Warriors and Washington Wizards face off at 7:00 p.m. EST tonight.
